paste it in your address bar of the browser,
click it,
it should automatically ask you to bookmark it.
This will place a feed line in your browser that will allow you to see when the blog is updated by anyone.
As to his idea about the chat room, I think they can be addictive and open doors we don't always need to be aware of. Be careful. Honor Christ in all things.
